The
BLB(Blind Leading the Blind) campaign is here and some of the Leo club members, including me, will raise funds for the cataract operations and sight-related diseases for the poor and needy. Anyone can donate as much money as you want due to your
willingness. In addition, those who volunteers to donate above RM200 will receive a
TAX EXEMPTION receipt on request.

Furthermore, there's an event going to held called the
7th Annual Charity Walk. The details are as follows:
Date: 19 April 2009/Sunday
Time: 7.30am
Venue: Dewan Sivik Petaling Jaya(near MPPJ)
The Blind or visually impaired will lead the sighted but blindfolded on the
3KM walk, thus giving the sighted the opportunity to
EXPERIENCE blindness to value sight and to appreciate teamwork and have fun and raise the much needed funds for the poor who cant afford the eye operations. Anyone who wishes to join the charity walk are welcome.

Campaign Sight First IIFor sight-related disease patients who did operation in other hospitals, they were charged
RM3000-RM6000 for one eye. However, in Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital, they only charge
RM500-Rm600 for the patients who need operations.
Anyone can choose to donate to the poor and needy due to their willingness. :)
